English speaking wedding photographer in Provence
Of course ! I know very well spoken English, or American should I say (thanks to the TV series). It is really a pleasure for me to be the photographer of an English wedding that takes place in Provence. Our English-speaking friends are often very friendly, they have a sense of celebration and organize really beautiful weddings.
Once again, I was not mistaken. The Marriage of Coral & James was, as I expected, magical. It was a wedding in the Vaucluse, with few guests, in a place full of charm that I really love: The Domaine de Blanche Fleur.
An outdoor ceremony
All the day of the wedding took place directly on the site. It’s a real comfort for both the bride and the groom. The preparations for Coral, the bride, were on the first floor with family members. James was preparing on the ground floor with his bestman. It’s really less stress in terms of timing, we were pretty calm.
Adorable married who have welcomed me with a big smile and even a beer!
The guests arrived in the middle of the afternoon and were waiting for the bride and groom at the bottom of the stairs in the room where the bride was preparing. The ceremony was set in the garden right next to the stairs.
James was already on the ark of the secular ceremony. He turned his back on the aisle of the ceremony to keep the surprise until the last moment. Once the cortege passed, it was the turn of Coral. She went down the stairs on her father’s arm to join her future husband.
One of their friend was in charge of the music. He was playing guitar and singing or playing music.
The ceremony was officiated by Celia Drummond entirely in English. To formalize their union in front of all their friends and family, the newlyweds chose the ribbon ceremony. Their hands were symbolically tied by a pink lace ribbon.
It’s my favorite moment in a wedding. I’m still waiting for the right moment to have the best light possible. During the cocktail I ask the bride and groom to come with me to go take some pictures. With a place like the domain of Blanche Fleur that I know very well, it’s easy! I already know the beautiful places, I just have to guide the bride and groom and do my part.
The couple photo shoot is pretty much the only time of the day when the newlyweds are going to be alone (or almost). A little bubble apart where they take the time to realize that they did it! They are finally married! And that’s exactly what I’m trying to capture through my photos. An emotion, an exchange, looks, smiles …
This English wedding in Provence happened in small committee. There were about fifty guests which made this event quite intimate. The bride and groom were surrounded only by their family and the closest people to them.
After the ceremony, the guests were invited to a small refreshment. A few minutes time to congratulate the newlyweds. Then, they made a hedge of honor to the bride and groom in the entrance of Blanche Fleur. The newlyweds made a crossing through confetti, applause and smiles to celebrate their union.
After a wonderful cocktail in the courtyard of the estate of Blanche Fleur, dinner was in the reception room next to the pool. A meal in an English style, in a small committee and punctuated by speeches (speeches).
MARIAGE ANGLAIS À BLANCHE FLEUR
Coming to Provence in the Domaine de Blanche Fleur to take a picture of a wedding is always a pleasure. It is a place full of charm in which I am always certain to attend a magnificent marriage.
This beautiful place in the Vaucluse is full of nice corners to make the pictures of couples. Blanche Fleur is located right next to beautiful fields, in addition the domain itself is really beautiful. Each room, each space is beautifully decorated which makes my photographer’s work really enjoyable.
